Temporary buyers in the Atlanta market.
The growing comfort of attending in-person buying and selling events, along with investments from leading industry organizations working to bring their members back to business, is driving the expansion of the Atlanta Marketplace Temporary Collection with nearly 1,000 lines planned for the summer 2021 market, from July 14 to 18. at AmericasMart Atlanta.
“Gift and decoration brands are ready to exhibit in in-person markets and choose Atlanta Market to reconnect with their customers,” said Scott Eckman, director of revenue for the International Market Centers (IMC). “This summer in Atlanta, buyers will have even more opportunities to discover new products and suppliers.”
The reorganization continues for the summer
Atlanta Market’s temporary collection strategic updates continue this summer in anticipation of post-pandemic growth in the market. Four categories – Body & Soul, Body & Soul LUXE, Children’s World and Modern Child – are moving to Building 3, Floor 3 to allow for the expansion of these popular categories as well as the expansion of General Gift and On Trend Gift in the building. 3, floor 5. Following a successful reorganization of the Atlanta Market Temporary Show for the Winter 2021 Market, all other temporary categories will remain in their new locations for the Summer Market – including Cash & Carry Jewelry (Building 2, Floor 4 ) and ANTIQUES (building 3, floor 1).
“The realignment of the Atlanta market temporaries has created a more consistent shopping experience that will only improve as resources increase,” noted Eckman. “We anticipate a robust market for the summer of 2021, with rental activity already exceeding expectations more than two months before the show.”
Business organizations get back to business
The summer 2021 temps also include new and recurring supplier participation from three industry organizations. The Accessories Council will debut in Atlanta at a pavilion of 15 global fashion accessory brands in the Boutique category located in Building 3, Floor 4. Virginia’s Finest returns to the show with a five supplier pavilion, showcasing superior quality , produced -products in Virginia sponsored by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in the Gourmet Foods category of Building 3, Floor 3. As previously announced, the Museum Store Association (MSA) will be returning and featured in the new collection of the gallery located in Building 3, floor 2 with more than 20 exhibitors.

For the summer of 2021, nearly 1,000 temporary Atlanta market workers will be on display from Wednesday, July 14 to Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday, July 18, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (ANTIQUES closes at 2 p.m. on Saturday July 17).
